Black and Silver Thank You Card Set
I know it is still winter time and people are looking forward to Spring and I do already have some flowery or pastel cards but I saw these sitting in my "ready to put together" box and just had to do them.
On these I used some metallic silver paper, it is pretty shiny. I used a silver ribbon and black Die Cut decorative strip of course from Spellbinders Dies. I used another die to die cut the Thank You mat, stamped with black ink and a little swirl border across the bottom. I cut of the edge of the mat to show a little more of the fancy Card Stock, what set I have no clue but I will try to keep track of the names in the future. Usually though I sit down one day and put out lots of papers to make lots of sets, cut them all to size add a matching background mat then put in sandwich bags box and put in my "Ready to put together" box. From now on I will put a little note in the bag to state which set it came from. I do use a lot ow DCWV paper sets though.
Ok until the next post carry on.

Somebody requested I make these little birthday cards for them
This is a set of 10 Birthday Cards a customer requested I make for them. Of course I am up for anything so I gave it a go. She just wanted some random different ones. I went to my old box in the cabinet and found some cards I had started last August 2012 and did not finish because of making Christmas Cards.
I used various forms of decorations to include die cut flowers, and cupcakes, and stamped or printed flowers.
Of course I cut out the mats using different spellbinders dies.
I have 2 more posts to add now, yes I know was busy for a while now I have time for a few posts.

Quick set done that I started yesterday
This is my "Wild Card" set. I bought stacks and stacks of this colorful wild card stock at Michaels when they had a sale some time early last year. I am still using it up and have a lot left still, so this is kinda my staple background of a card that I make.
The cards are 5 x 4 inches, the base is white card stock. The cards are blank on the inside and back.
The set up of the cards is the black card stock, the patterned card stock, the smaller embossed card stock, finally decorative "Thank You".
I die cut the decorative "Thank You" mat holder from Spellbinder, enhanced white gel pen dashes and matching colored rhinestones.
I added black glitter glue to the 4 corners of the embossed card stock.
The white card stock with he black "Thank You" had colored gel pen dashes to match the color of the cards.
You can visit my card store here if you want to or if you have a special order you can email here

As promised here is the next Pastel set I said I was working on
I know it is not even close to Spring time but just maybe it is close enough he he.
Again I thank you for coming by to look. Hopefully you do not see any adds on my site, that is not why I made this site. I simply made this blog and the posts so buys can see all different things I can do on cards and they can request something special if wanted.
Card 1 - Die cut Carnation flowers that have the edges inked, with pink half moons in the center, with some leaves
Card 2 - Stamped birdies colored in using alcohol ink pens, with a little blue bow
Card 3 - Embossed vellum inked pink, green, and blue with blue glitter glue
as center, and the Prima flowers with the same blue glitter glue their centers.

Card 5 - Quilled flowers and leaves, with button or blue glitter glue as their centers

Simple Red Thank You cards
I made these cards using some left over printed paper from making some colorful envelopes. I just love being able to use or reuse scraps from something else.
On this set I also used the spellbinders dies just from a different set to cut the Thank you mats and the ribbon holder embellishment.
On the black portions I added dots from White Tulips beads in a bottle. On the white part of the Thank You mat I added black sparkle gel pen dashes. On the white card stock cutout under the red ribbon I added red sparkle gel pen dashes. Finally stamped the Thank You in red ink and put it all together.
See all my card sales here
This is a very simple set to so and did two sets of them in one day.
Now I am working on another Pastel set for Spring, this will most likely take me a week to complete because there are 10 cards in the set and 6 sets in total that will be completed.
Well I guess that is all for now please scroll down to see the red cards.

Little Simple Yellow Thank You note Cards
I whipped this set up yesterday. I have a whole drawer full of papers cut and ready to be turned into cards just not enough time in the world to get them all done. Yesterday somehow this set came together really fast. Maybe because it is a simple set with not much embellishment on it.
I used some colorful printed papers that I had left over from making cash envelopes. I have lots of these papers, I recently went through them to figure out what would make a nice little card what I could just toss. I use a Spellbinders Edgeabilities to make the white across the bottom then added the black gel pen dashes to enhance the edges as well as some yellow ink. I used black wrapping ribbon and used another Spellbinders Die to cut out the little ribbon holder, also adding 4 tiny dots to the ribbon holder on the corners. Then I used yet another die to cut out the "Thank You" mats adding again yellow ink to the white one as well as the gel pen dots in each corner. Stuck it all together and there you go. Oh yes and added the glitter glue in each corner as if it were holding down the yellow Patterned Paper.
I did a link to the Spellbinder Edgeabilites not because I make any money from them but so you the reader can find them too if you want to.
If you want to see where I have all my cards for sale on Ebay you can follow this link here.
Well until next time then. Enjoy your day and see you again.
